I want to start with something direct.
In 15+ years of teaching CLAT, the most painful conversations I’ve had aren’t with students who struggled academically. They’re with students who were genuinely sharp, clearly capable, and had to give up on law school because they couldn’t afford coaching.
That’s not a failure of the student. That’s a gap in the system. And this scholarship is my attempt to close it, at least for the students who come to MEGA LAW & G.K.
“I’ve met students from villages near Agra who read every newspaper they could find, built their own current affairs notes from scratch, and still couldn’t crack CLAT, not because they weren’t smart enough, but because they had nobody showing them how the legal aptitude section actually works. That’s a solvable problem. So we’re solving it.”
— Manav Lawania, Founder, MEGA LAW & G.K.
If you’re reading this because money is the only thing standing between you and CLAT preparation: keep reading.
Who qualifies for this scholarship?
Students from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families targeting CLAT 2027 or CLAT 2028. No minimum marks cutoff. No entrance test. If your family holds a valid BPL ration card or income certificate from a government authority, you qualify.
Seats are limited per batch. First come, first confirmed.
What you need to show us (any one of these):
- BPL ration card (your family’s)
- Income certificate issued by Tehsildar, SDM or equivalent government officer
- Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) card
You don’t need to courier anything. A clear WhatsApp photo works.
What the scholarship actually covers
‘Free coaching’ often means something limited. So let me be specific.
Coaching fees: 100% waived
The full coaching fee for whichever batch you're joining. Zero. You keep your money.
Study material: included
The same material every other student in your batch gets. Legal aptitude sets, RC passages, GK sheets, QT practice.
Mock test series: included
Full mock papers with rank data, not just scores. You'll know exactly where you stand relative to others writing the same test.
Mentorship sessions: included
Weekly sessions with current NLU students at NLSIU, NALSAR and NUJS. The same access every MEGA LAW & G.K. student gets.
Manav sir's personal number: included
Every MEGA LAW & G.K. student gets my personal WhatsApp number. Scholarship students are no different. Same number. Same access.
Same batch, same classes
Scholarship students aren't put in a separate section. You're in the same batch as everyone else. Same faculty. Same sessions.
What the scholarship doesn’t cover (be aware of this before you apply):
- Internet charges: you’ll need your own internet connection for online classes
- Smartphone or device: you need a phone or laptop to attend
- Exam registration fees: CLAT registration fee (around Rs. 4,000) is separate and goes to the Consortium of NLUs, not us
If internet access is also a problem, message us anyway. We’ll see what can be arranged on a case by case basis. Don’t let that stop you from applying.

How to apply (less than 5 minutes)
No complicated form. No essay. Just do this:
Step 1: Message us on WhatsApp
Send a message to +91 6397564795 saying: ‘I want to apply for the BPL scholarship for CLAT 2027/2028.’ That’s it.
Step 2: Share your basic details
Your name, class (or if you’re a dropper), target exam, and which state you’re from.
Step 3: Send a photo of your BPL document
BPL ration card, income certificate, or AAY card. A phone photo is fine. No scan needed.
Step 4: Get confirmation and join the batch
Once we verify your document, your seat is confirmed. Full access from Day 1.
You can also call us at +91 6397564795 or +91 7818037237 between 9am and 8pm. If you prefer email, write to info@megalaw.in
What happens after you join
Same thing that happens for every other student. Classes start. You study. We check your work. You take mocks. We analyse the errors together.
The only difference is your fee slip says zero.
Scholarship students get the full MEGA LAW & G.K. experience. That means Manav sir’s personal number from Day 1. Weekly NLU mentor sessions. Error log analysis after every mock. GK consolidation system. The works.
A student from a BPL family who cracks CLAT and gets into NLSIU or NALSAR is one of the most meaningful things I’ve seen in 15+ years of teaching. It’s happened more than once. And every time, it started with someone who almost didn’t apply because they assumed coaching was out of reach.
It’s not. Not here.
A few honest things to know
Seats are limited in each batch. We take a fixed number of scholarship students per batch based on what we can manage well. Once those seats fill, you’d have to wait for the next batch. So earlier is always better.
The scholarship is for students who’ll genuinely use it. We’re not running a waiting list for people who aren’t sure yet. If you apply, we expect you to show up for classes. If you stop attending without reason, your seat may go to someone else on the waiting list. That’s fair.
You don’t need to be a top student to apply. The scholarship is based on financial need, not academic performance. We’ve seen students who started with very weak foundations and cracked CLAT with the right preparation. Marks aren’t the filter here.
Droppers can also apply. If you appeared for CLAT but couldn’t crack it last year, and your family qualifies, you’re eligible. A lot of droppers who come to MEGA LAW & G.K. improve significantly with the right structure and error analysis. Financial background doesn’t change that.
One more thing: If you know someone who qualifies for this and doesn’t know about it, share this page with them. A student who would benefit from this scholarship but never found out about it because no one forwarded them a link: that’s a miss we want to avoid.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actually free or are there hidden costs later?
Coaching fees: zero. Study material: zero. Mock tests: zero. Mentorship: zero. The only costs you'll have are your internet connection, your phone, and the CLAT exam registration fee that goes directly to the Consortium of NLUs (not to us). No surprises after you join.
Do BPL scholarship students get the same teaching as paying students?
Yes. Same batch. Same classes. Same faculty. Same material. Same mock series. Same mentorship. Same Manav sir's number. There's no separate "scholarship section." You're part of the batch, full stop.
What if my family has an income certificate but not a BPL ration card specifically?
An income certificate from a Tehsildar, SDM or equivalent government officer is accepted. It doesn't have to be the ration card specifically. If you're unsure whether your document qualifies, just send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll tell you.
Can I apply for CLAT 2028 if I'm in Class 11 right now?
Yes. In fact, Class 11 students targeting CLAT 2028 have the best timeline for this. Fifteen months of structured preparation from Month 1 gives you a genuinely strong shot at the top NLUs.
What if I apply and the batch is already full?
We'll put you on a waitlist for the next batch and let you know as soon as a seat opens. But the best way to avoid this is to apply now rather than later.
Is this only for CLAT or for AILET too?
Both. MEGA LAW & G.K. prepares students for CLAT, AILET and SLAT. The scholarship covers your preparation for all three.
